We all have bad days. Unfortunately, when you are a caregiver to someone, their bad day becomes your bad day. It is really difficult not to let the bad energy alter your mood, even if you started off in a great mood. So, what do you do if you are a caregiver to someone who is a difficult person, or just having a really bad day?? Sometimes they can be: Lonely/Sad About Current Situation, They don’t feel well, scared Change if routine, they feel like you treat them like a child, or they are in pain Possible they have a UTI. DO NOT attempt to be a Super Caregiver. Let yourself have “bad” days when even though you’re doing what needs to be done for the person you care for.
